In this workshop it is the landscape that will be our teacher and Goethe's approach (facilitated by Katherine) will lead us into a new way of relating to landscape. The inevitable consequence is that we wish to express what we have come to or to 'co-create' with the landscape. The landscape itself 'shows' us how to do so and in the second half of the workshop, having awakened our creativity we will co-create with ‘land art’ (facilitated by Johannes).
£150 (£120 concessions) - including materials, light lunches and refreshments

Katherine Buchanan is an ecological consultant, and storyteller and researches landscapes plants and animals ‘in context’. She teaches ‘Nature’s Open Secret”, “Artistic Science” and “Storytelling” on the Edinburgh Steiner Teacher’s training course and “In partnership with Nature” in workshops across Scotland.
Johannes Sloendregt is an architect and a sculptor practising both professions. His projects take him to France, Germany, Italy, China, Taiwan and Scotland, but his main field of activity is in Switzerland. Sculpture is complementing architecture in the most beautiful way: What we need is a new sensitivity to forms and space and a new relationship to nature. Land art is a gateway to creativity in harmony with our natural environment. Website: www.bildart.ch
