The Life Science Trust was established in 1992 to research, teach and promote educational methods that enable people of all ages and abilities to rediscover a healing, physical and spiritual connection with the natural world, and to develop the skills of living in creative partnership with the natural environment. It bases its work on the scientific approach initiated by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and developed by Rudolf Steiner.
The Trust is a Scottish charity (No SCO20705, registered in November 1992), and a member of Camphill Scotland, the Biodynamic Association, and the Quiet Gardens Trust.
Our Patron is the famous mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington CBE.
We have four Trustees (from left to right: Christian Thal-Jantzen, Betty Stolk, Dr James Dyson and Richard Ramsbotham).
The Chief Executive is Dr Margaret Colquhoun. Her article in Caduceus magazine explains in greater detail what the project aims to do.
And you can see us on Scottish Television!
